How we collect, use and protect your personal information under POPIA.

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DCA Group (Pty) Ltd ("DCA Group", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA").

1. Who we are

DCA Group is a South African accounting, tax, fiduciary and continuity firm based in Cape Town. We are the responsible party for the personal information we process about you.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us — such as your name, email address, telephone number and the details you include when you complete a contact or consultation form, request a Summit demo, or join the Lifebridge interest list.
  • Client engagement information — information necessary to provide our services, including tax, estate, trust and financial information shared with us as part of an engagement.
  • Technical information — limited information collected automatically through cookies and analytics, such as your device type, browser and how you use this website. See our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
  • To administer engagements and meet our professional, legal and regulatory obligations;
  • To send you insights or updates where you have asked us to;
  • To improve and secure our website.

4. Lawful basis for processing

We process personal information where it is necessary to provide our services, to comply with a legal obligation, to pursue our legitimate interests in a balanced way, or where you have given your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who process information on our behalf (for example email, hosting and analytics providers), and with regulators, SARS or the Master of the High Court where required to deliver our services or comply with the law. Any operators we use are bound to protect your information.

6. Security

We take appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. Where this website sends form submissions, they are transmitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by professional and legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
